Space Brothers is a show that is about two Brothers who have a dream of being an astronaut after witnessing a strange phenomenon of a possible UFO flying to the direction of the moon. More than 15 years later, younger bother Hibito have completed his training and is going to be the 1st japanese on the moon, while Mutta ( main ) is fired from his job and blacklisted from his profession, after being enlightened, Mutta finally tries to fulfil his dream to walk on the moon....
So this show is really one or perhaps the most inspiring anime/show i have ever watched . It really shows and depicts the life of a normal adult who tries to become an astronaut. I want to become an airline pilot, and as this show was related to aviation, I went to watch this anime, without any expectations . However, I was stunned by the plot and animation of this wonderful masterpiece. No this anime is not an anime that shows some sci-fi stuffs, or perhaps some aliens they find, this anime is just ordinary, nothing special about the plot. In fact the plot is so simple that that is what makes it extremely awesome!!! Mutta the main character, is the older brother, however, he was not able to become an astronaut as fast as his younger brother, Hibito. This anime is not about the two brothers trying to compete, but instead they help each other to fulfil their goals and dreams
Not only is the plot really nice, it is very realistic and shows many different character's perspective, how each character tries their best to become an astronaut. In the anime, Mutta is very humorous, and never fails to make me laugh, but this is not all, even though he faced many many setbacks, he was still able to pass it with positive attitude and help people along the way. This is what we have to learn and be able to master. This anime makes me feel inspired and closer to my goal every time i watch it, it really makes one more optimistic.
Target audience : Any age, any career. It suits people who have similar dreams , ie ; pilot, engineer,astronaut .. or for people who have no idea what their goals are .
Rating : 9.5/10 ( only fault is that the animation is abit bad sometimes and it had some slow moments)
